Soladigm, established in 2007 and up to now in “stealth-mode” announced today that they will build their factory plant in Mississippi after receiving a $40 million loan and another $4 million of incentives from the state.
The technology, called “Smart Windows”, will eliminate the need for blinds that prevent excess light to enter the building through the windows. The company claims that Smart Window technology can eliminate up to 25% of a building’s cooling and heating costs.
